Tenants
Each property gets two free bulky collections of three items a year. Book one for a bin day before you move out, and have the items outside by 7am. Bookings cannot be changed, only cancelled by 10am the day before and rebooked. Anything left behind may come out of your deposit, so check your tenancy agreement.
Old carpet you lifted yourself can go to Chichester Street or Spring Vale, and working furniture can go in a donate container at one of 18 Greater Manchester tips. See carpet disposal in Rochdale and moving house clearance in Rochdale for planning the last few days.

The Rochdale tips take household waste only and refuse business and trade waste, so check before taking a load from a rental. Rochdale's bulky pages do not mention landlords or empty properties, so ask the council before booking. A licensed waste carrier can clear the property and give you a waste transfer note.
