About us

Compare Waste UK is run by Dean Johnson, a sole trader (7 Egerton Walk, Nottingham, NG3 4FW). Contact: chessking593@gmail.com.

What we do

We are a free comparison and referral service. We pass your quote request to waste companies, who may contact you with a price. We do not carry waste, we do not carry out clearances, and we do not set or guarantee the prices companies give you.

Any contract is with the company you choose

If you book a waste company, your contract is with that company and not with us. The company is responsible for the service it provides, including its prices, timing and insurance. We are not a party to that contract.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information when you ask for quotes.
• Before you hand over waste, check the company is a registered waste carrier. The law gives you a duty of care to make sure your waste goes to an authorised person.
• Get prices and what is included in writing before you agree to a job.

Our responsibility

We take reasonable care in running this site, but we cannot promise that any company will contact you or be available in your area, or that information on the site is always complete or up to date. We are not responsible for the actions of the companies you deal with. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Links to other sites

This site may link to other websites, such as official registers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with something about our service, email chessking593@gmail.com and we will try to put it right. If your complaint is about a waste company, please also raise it with that company directly.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
