At the tips
Recycle for Greater Manchester takes hardcore, rubble and soil up to five sacks a visit, each 900mm by 600mm, and only from work you carried out yourself. With a car that is 52 visits a year, so it suits a small DIY job rather than a full strip-out. Plasterboard from work on your own home is accepted, and so are tyres. See Bolton tips.
The bulky collection
The council bulky collection will not take builder waste, fixtures and fittings, fitted units, windows or bathroom and kitchen suites.

Waste from tradespeople you hired counts as trade waste, and trade waste is not accepted at any Bolton recycling centre. The builder should take it away, and you should check they are a registered waste carrier. See fly-tipping and your duty of care in Bolton.
