What the council allows
For a full house the council route runs out fast. The free collection stops at five items a year, and the council says you cannot book one for a resident who has left the property, which rules out a clearance after a move or a death. A van at the tip needs a permit and is capped at 12 visits a year, and permits are refused to landlords and commercial addresses. See council bulky collection and tip permit.
