Tip dates
Recycle for Greater Manchester lists both Tameside tips as open 8am to 6pm daily and closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Tameside's own page also gives 8am to 6pm from November to the end of March (checked against Tameside Council and Recycle for Greater Manchester pages on 2 November 2026). Neither says anything about shorter hours on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
