Plasterboard
Bristol tips charge £5 per sheet or bag for clean plasterboard and £9 where it has other materials attached. The council page words the £9 charge per sheet or bag, and the Bristol Waste Company page per bag, so ask how it is counted. You pay when you book your slot. See the tip booking guide. The council page also lists a free allowance of one sheet of plasterboard per visit, so ask what you will be charged.
Tyres
The council page lists tyres with a limit: "maximum of 4, any more than this, or repeat visits, will be challenged and you may be turned away". The Bristol Waste Company page lists most tyres as free, but not commercial or agricultural ones.
Council collection
The council bulky collection does not take car parts and tyres, and its list of what it does not collect includes building and DIY waste, so plasterboard is unlikely to be taken. Ask before you book.
A private firm
A builder or fitter who generates plasterboard on your job should remove it, because trade waste is banned at the tips. For your own DIY, see rubble and building waste in Bristol for the free allowance.
