Otterspool opening times
Summer (1 April to 30 September) 8am to 8pm, winter (1 October to 31 March) 8am to 5pm. It is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Near closing time the staff may stop vehicles joining the queue, so arrive well before the gates shut.
Good to know about Otterspool
- No pedestrian access. You need a vehicle, and cyclists follow the same route as vehicles
- Paint is not accepted here. It is taken at Old Swan
- The council says its sites take bulky items such as furniture and white goods
- No asbestos and no trade waste
- Queues can build up. Staff may turn away vehicles that cannot get in before closing, and the gates can close early
