Kings Norton is handy for homes in south Birmingham, including Kings Norton, Northfield, Longbridge, Selly Oak, Stirchley, Bournville and Cotteridge. With a van or trailer, people in south Birmingham have to use another site until the works are done. Tyseley is the one with no height limit.

Good to know about Kings Norton

- The council's strike page (last updated June 2025) listed Kings Norton as 10am to 10pm on weekdays, closed 8am to 10am so collection lorries can leave the depot. Veolia now lists the same hours as the other sites, so check before you go
