Where the council stops
Edinburgh Council puts house clearances on its list of things the council bulky uplift will not do. It takes five items at £5 each, from the pavement, and tips are by 30 minute appointment with trailers capped at 6ft by 4ft and vans limited to three slots a day. A whole property therefore means a private firm. See Edinburgh tips and van and trailer rules.
