The council service
Oldham's bulky page says the service is for broken or damaged furniture and electrical items that cannot be re-used, sold or donated. Each item is £10, or £5 for selected smaller items, and everything has to be outside on the day. A broken freezer or chest of drawers from the garage fits that. A garage full of bags, paint tins, old tools and bits of wood does not.
