If you are the tenant
A Trafford bulky collection is £44.10 for up to five items. Book it for a day before you hand back the keys, because a cancellation is only refunded up to two working days before. Trafford's terms say items must be outside the building but inside your property boundary by 6.30am, put out only that morning, and each one must be safe for two people to carry. Anything left behind could be charged against your deposit, so check your tenancy agreement and photograph the empty rooms.

Recycle for Greater Manchester says business waste cannot go to any of its centres, and Trafford's bulky service is for domestic premises only, with commercial waste quoted separately. Trafford says 337 businesses were asked to show their waste paperwork and 40 were fined. Use a registered waste carrier and keep the waste transfer note.
