Before you go
- Household plasterboard from your own home is accepted. Trade plasterboard is not
- Pick-up trucks are listed for this site and need a free permit, like vans. Some pages disagree on pick-ups, so ring first
- Rubble and soil: five 900mm by 600mm sacks a visit, from your own DIY
- One Greater Manchester page gives a different postcode (M26 4EU), so check the sat nav
Asbestos is not taken here. Cement-bonded asbestos from your own home goes to a weighbridge such as Cobden Street in Salford or Arkwright Street in Oldham. Cars get 52 visits a year. Vans, pick-ups and twin axle trailers need a free van permit and get 18.
Bury's other tip is Every Street in Bury. See the Bury tips guide.
