Recycle for Greater Manchester's site pages give these closures, checked against Salford City Council and Recycle for Greater Manchester pages on 31 October 2026. Planning a clear-out
- Sort recycling before you go: staff check loads at the gate
- Vans need a free permit applied for 2 working days ahead
- For the council bulky collection, book early, as it is aimed at 7 to 14 days away
