The tips
The council page says Bristol's recycling centres accept refrigerators and freezers, domestic only, with a maximum of 2 items in any rolling 28 days. It lists no difference between the three sites. You need a booked slot, photo ID and proof of residence. See the Bristol tips guide.
Council collection
The council bulky collection lists fridges with bed frames, mattresses and electricals as non-soft items: £27 for up to 3, £52 for 4 to 6. It is out on the kerb by 7am. Earlier versions of the council pages showed slightly lower prices, so check the booking form for the price you will pay.
Other electrical items
The tips take household electrical appliances, large and small, and televisions and monitors. Batteries, cooking oil in a sealed container and scrap metal are on the accepted list too.
Private collection
A licensed collector will usually remove a fridge for about £20 to £50 as a UK guide price.
