Good to know

If the tip won't work for you

Loughborough tip is closed Thursday and Friday, and the free DIY allowance doesn't go far on a big job. If you can't wait, have no car, or have more than the allowance, a licensed company can take it from your home in Loughborough: see rubbish removal, single items, builders' waste or grab hire.

Charnwood Borough Council bulky waste collection

Charnwood Borough Council collects large household items for a fee:

Upholstered collections can book up, so there may be a wait. If you need it gone sooner, or carried out of the house, a private single item collection is often quicker.
