Where Avonmouth tip is
Kings Weston Lane, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 0YS. Avonmouth is on Kings Weston Lane in the north-west corner of the city. It is open five days a week, and it is one of the two sites that cannot take tall vehicles.
Avonmouth opening times
Avonmouth is open on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The hours are weekdays 9am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm. Closed on 25 December, 26 December and 1 January. From 24 to 31 December the hours are 8am to 4pm. Book a slot first and arrive about 5 minutes before it starts. The full times are in the Bristol tips guide.
Good to know about Avonmouth
- Open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is shut on Wednesday and Thursday
- The council says the site is on one level, with full wheelchair access
- Not accessible to vehicles over 2.4m high. A tall van has to use Hartcliffe Way
